Raised and educated in the Midwest (DePauw University and Indiana University School of Law), Scott has enjoyed a vibrant regional business practice in the Phoenix offices of BigLaw law firms such as Winston & Strawn, Squire Patton Boggs, Quarles & Brady (then, Streich Lang) and Gallagher & Kennedy. As a top producer and firm leader in each, Scott spent a great deal of time and energy on BigLaw economic, cultural and client issues as well as on legal marketplace trends and client-law firm relationship issues.
The result: NewLAWu.s.. Scott has developed a regional and national reputation in the sophisticated real estate and complex business transaction arenas and has served in leadership positions with regional and national economic development, community and charitable organizations.
Donna began her career in New York with Xerox. During her 25-year tenure, she moved from individual sales to sales and marketing management , to becoming the vice president of Southwestern United States regional operations. She built several successful sales and marketing teams, some in excess of 2,000 people.
At the request of business and political leaders, she left Xerox to become the CEO of the Arizona Technology Council, Arizona’s largest association of public-private partnerships dedicated to venture development.
Since leaving the Arizona Tech Council, Donna has become one of the most sought after startup and early venture business consultants in the Southwestern U.S.. She brings to NewLAWu.s. her well-earned reputation for building national and global businesses through her operational and strategic focus. Donna has served on numerous non-profit boards including foundations supporting missions in Africa.
Building on his two degrees from MIT (M.S. and B.S. in Materials Science) and an MBA from Harvard University, Ed worked his way from entry-level to partner to director of West Coast operations for Booz Allen Hamilton. In his 15 years with Booz, Ed consulted with some of the world’s largest corporations, delivering billions of dollars in savings.
Since Booz, Ed has headed or assumed senior leadership positions in companies with business diversity ranging from mining/oil/gas to wind turbine blade manufacturing to private equity to software and lean manufacturing consultancy.
The depth of Ed’s financial background coupled with his unique ability to critically and strategically examine operations and analyses will prove invaluable as we build two companies that are innovative in both product and delivery.
